About Rubicon Photo and Jeff Schmatt
Rubicon Photo is a digital portrait and commercial studio ran by Jeff Schmatt of Mount Vernon, Iowa. Established originally in 1995 in Cedar Rapids, and moved to the scenic rural Mount Vernon country side in 2002. With over 20 years of photographic experience you can trust Jeff to capture your events, family heirloom portraits creatively and a professional manner. Jeff Schmatt is a member of North East Iowa Professional Photographer, Professional Photographers of Iowa, and Professional Photographers of America; also a Certified Professional Photographer. Jeff is also very active in his community volunteering for his time and talents at Mount Vernon Methodist Church, HD Youth Center, Cedar Rapids Downtown District, and is a member of the Cedar Rapids Thursday Noon Optimist Club.
